God led Global Action to be created in 1998. The ministry was started to be a non-formal training program for men and women who are called to the ministry, but who have neither the time nor the financial resources to attend Bible college or seminary. God has used this ministry for nearly twenty years to equip thousands of men and women to be more effective in their ministries, to spread the Gospel and to grow their churches.
Global Action has ministered in 77 countries directly involved in equipping leaders through training and material distribution, evangelism, delivering food and other essentials to the needy, as well as providing assistance to disaster victims into many countries including India, Sri Lanka, the US, and more.
In 2005, after the Tsunami of 2004, Global Action organized over 8,000 volunteers at different locations to help with providing meals, "essential" supplies, medical supplies, and the rebuilding of communities.
Almost 2,000 teams members have traveled with us on 152 trips around the world. These teams have done evangelistic events, youth events, 80 camps for orphans and disadvantaged children, distributed hundreds of thousands of gospel literature and Bibles, and delivered over 64,000 blankets during cold weather months in Nepal and northern India.
We have trained over 5,500 pastors and church leaders through our 8 month "Global Module Studies" (GLOMOS) courses and helped facilitate tens of thousands of church plants through these graduates, which have reached over 250,000 new Christians in their churches. We have trained over 50,000 pastors and church leaders through hundreds of leadership conferences and seminars.
