Hope Center Desert Classic in Mesa, AZ

We are hearing every day about the political unrest in Ukraine and Russian takeover of Crimea.  About 11 years ago God called Global Action to work with children in Crimea,Ukraine through summer camps. These children are the innocent victims of so much that is happening in their country.

Hope Center focuses on children who are neglected, abused, abandoned and unloved.  Poverty and alcoholism are social realities in a country that is struggling.  At summer camp the kids learn to play, to hug,  and they learn that Jesus loves each one of them.  Walls come down!

The Hope Center Desert Classic this coming Saturday will help send some of these children to camp.  Our goal is to fund two full camps through the golf tournaments in Arizona and Minnesota.  Your donations are so appreciated as the dollars literally change lives!

So bring your $55 registration for golf and dinner (if you haven’t already), along with your generous donations for the kids and those you have collected from friends, relatives and coworkers to help more kids know God's love.

Remember that the putting contest starts at 12:30 and there is a “good as cash” prize for the winner or winners. And there will be prizes for the on-course games and contests, dinner immediately following golf, and a short awards program. Phil Long, president of Global Action, will be in town and playing in the event this year and he would like to meet all of you during the day. It should be a great day of fun, sun, and support for Hope Center.

See you Saturday!
