Global Action was founded in 1998 in response to the serious ministry needs faced by the church around the world. As we served, we soon identified an overwhelming need for pastors and church leaders in developing nations to receive biblical training and resources so they can lead healthy, multiplying churches.
Global Action addresses the root issues rather than those on the surface. We have recognized that by strengthening the church and its leaders, we are able to exponentially increase our impact on communities. Instead of creating and maintaining compassion ministries on our own, we train pastors to lead healthy churches which naturally begin reaching out to their communities. This produces sustainable community transformation, since these churches keep growing and serving long after we’re gone.
Collaboration is part of our DNA. We are passionate about unity in Christ, and about working together for our common mission. In 2017 and 2018, we began partnering with Child Evangelism Fellowship, Cru’s Global Church Movements, and the Jesus Film Project so that we can have an even greater impact as we serve the Lord together.
To date, we have trained over 9,000 pastors and leaders who are now leading vibrant ministries and changing the world with the Gospel.
