Mission Field to Mission Force: Central America

Did you know that across the landscapes of Latin America — where Spanish and indigenous languages blend, and vibrant music and culture fill the streets — a powerful gospel movement has been growing?

It reminds me of Acts 14:21–22, where the first believers preached the Good News far and wide, then returned to strengthen their new brothers and sisters. In the same way, local pastors and leaders today are crossing rugged terrain and even danger zones to attend Global Action’s courses, all so they can bring hope back to their communities.

The latest “State of the Great Commission” report in Latin America points out that we need deeper discipleship and stronger leadership development among believers. Global Action is answering those needs. Leaders like our Mexico director, Pastor Ramiro Rivas, are respected in areas that are closed to North American missionaries. Yet he is there, starting new classes in places like South Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador, equipping others to plant churches and strengthen believers.

We’re watching Latin America shift from being a mission field to becoming a rising mission force, and we thank God!
