Cristian Perez (pictured front row, third from left) wanted to use his passion for the Lord, but felt frustrated by his lack of practical ministry skills and theological training. Global Action came to his small town in Colombia in 2022, where faculty members quickly identified his gifting as he completed coursework. 

“Cristian saw Global Action as a unique opportunity to deepen his doctrinal knowledge and better prepare himself to fulfill the Great Commission. The training he received through this program helped fill the biblical gaps he still had and equipped him to impact the communities he was already serving more effectively,” states Regional Director Dr. Dennis Ruano.

“In the final modules of the Foundations program, we began to learn how the church transforms communities. I had to get out of the four walls! Today, my desire, my ministry dream is already coming true to the glory of God…we have a community kitchen that feeds 52 children,” Cristian exclaims.

Cristian now serves as the Director of Colombia for Global Action, so he can equip and empower other young leaders for a lifetime of ministry.
