Waves of Community Influence: Elisabeth’s Story
Posted on October 07, 2025

When students first find Global Action’s Foundations program, they are already deeply enmeshed with their communities in positions of influence. But when rich theological education alights on the Holy Spirit’s power, these leaders transform communities and churches for Jesus Christ!
Elisabeth serves as a school teacher, a Sunday school teacher, and a youth evangelist in Telangana, South India. But she was playing all of these important roles without any formal biblical training. “The Global Foundations program is providing me with a strong foundation in the Word of God,”she shares.
Slated to graduate at the end of 2025, transformation from her coursework has begun internally and spread outward. “My personal relationship with God has deepened through a better understanding and application of the “Life of Jesus” and “Core Biblical Truths” [two modules of Foundations]. This has not only strengthened my personal faith, but has also enhanced the effectiveness of my ministry.”
“My teaching skills have developed, and I now communicate God’s Word in a more engaging and impactful way. This transformation is already bearing fruit—especially among the Sunday school children and youth I serve—helping them to encounter God in meaningful ways.”
When we consider the investment in one leader like Elisabeth, and her investment in theological education, we also rejoice in each church member, each child with whom she shares the gospel, and every soul she influences in her community for Jesus Christ!

“In recent ministry opportunities, I’ve been invited to teach in church settings, drawing from both the Foundations training and my previous experience. Sunday school and youth ministry have become more vibrant and relevant, enriched by the new insights I’ve gained.”
