Why Global Action Exists

To Equip Church Leaders in Hard Places to Transform Their Communities With the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Global Action equips local church leaders in hard places through accessible, contextual, non-formal theological training.

We come alongside leaders who are already serving their churches and communities.

Our goal isn’t simply to give leaders more information. We want to help form leaders who can faithfully teach God’s Word, make disciples, strengthen churches, develop others, and serve their communities with the hope of the Gospel.

We believe the people already serving their communities are key to the future of the global Church.

Christianity is growing rapidly around the world, but access to theological education has not kept pace.

A Global Action Term

What Do We Mean by “Hard Places”?

Hard places are places where church leaders face significant barriers to accessing theological education and ministry development.

The barriers may include geography, poverty, conflict, persecution, language, cost, limited infrastructure, or a lack of available training.

Hard places aren’t defined by the people. They’re defined by the barriers.
Why Local Leaders?

We Don’t Replace Local Leadership. We Invest in It.

Local leaders understand their language, culture, community, challenges, and opportunities in ways outsiders cannot.

Global Action comes alongside them with biblical knowledge, character development, mentoring, and practical ministry training.

A strong biblical foundation for real ministry.

Foundations is Global Action’s one-year biblical training program for local church leaders who are already serving but have limited access to theological education.

Students learn in community, apply what they are learning in their churches, and grow in biblical understanding, character, and practical ministry leadership.
