Our Foundation

Faith at the Center of Our Mission

Global Action exists to glorify God by equipping church leaders to faithfully serve His Church and participate in His mission throughout the world.

Our ministry is rooted in the authority of Scripture, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. These beliefs guide our teaching, partnerships, leadership, organizational decisions, and service to the global Church.

We seek to hold these convictions with humility, clarity, and faithfulness as we work alongside Christian leaders from many nations, cultures, and church traditions.

Our Statement of Faith

We Believe

These foundational convictions express the faith that guides Global Action and unites us with followers of Jesus throughout the world.

01

In One God

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible. He is holy, loving, sovereign, eternal, and worthy of all worship, honor, and obedience.

02

In Jesus Christ

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived without sin, and revealed the fullness of God’s grace and truth.

03

In His Saving Work

We believe Jesus Christ was crucified for our sins, died, and was buried. On the third day, He rose bodily from the dead, defeating sin and death and securing salvation for all who place their faith in Him.

04

In His Reign and Return

We believe Jesus Christ ascended into heaven and reigns at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.

05

In the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life. The Spirit glorifies Christ, convicts of sin, gives new life, sanctifies believers, and empowers God’s people for faithful witness, ministry, and service.

06

In Holy Scripture

We believe the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, trustworthy, and authoritative Word of God. Scripture reveals God’s character, His redemptive purposes, and His will for His people.

07

In Salvation by Grace

We believe salvation is the gift of God, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, sinners are forgiven, reconciled to God, adopted into His family, and given the hope of eternal life.

08

In the Resurrection

We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the renewal of all creation, and the everlasting reign of Christ. We look forward to the day when God will dwell with His people and make all things new.

The People of God

We Believe in the Church

We believe the Church is the one Body of Christ, made up of all who belong to Him. The Church is called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples of all nations, care for one another, equip believers for ministry, and bear faithful witness in every culture and community.

We believe Christ gives leaders to His Church so that His people may be equipped, strengthened, and brought toward maturity. Therefore, the development of faithful, biblically grounded, and spiritually formed leaders is essential to the health and mission of the Church.

Lastly, We Believe

Our Organization Has a Calling

Our theological convictions shape not only what we teach, but also how Global Action understands its role in serving the Church.

Our Organizational Conviction

Access to Training Matters

We believe God is already at work around the world, calling and using local leaders to shepherd churches, teach Scripture, make disciples, and serve their communities.

The barrier is often not a lack of calling, faithfulness, or potential. It is a lack of access to biblical training and leadership formation.

We Believe in Non-Formal Theological Education

We believe rigorous and faithful theological education should be accessible to church leaders regardless of where they live, their financial resources, their previous academic experience, or their ability to attend a traditional Bible college or seminary.

Non-formal theological education is structured, intentional, biblical, and serious while remaining flexible enough to serve leaders within their own ministry contexts. It brings learning closer to the local church, allowing leaders to study in community, apply what they are learning, receive mentoring, and continue serving while they are being equipped.

We believe theological education should form the whole leader. It should deepen biblical knowledge, cultivate Christlike character, strengthen practical ministry skills, and prepare leaders to disciple and equip others.

Global Action therefore comes alongside local churches, ministries, schools, and leaders through contextual, relational, reproducible, and primarily in-person training. We do not seek to replace the local church or formal theological institutions. We seek to serve the Church by expanding access to faithful training and helping leaders multiply what they have received.

Our Commitment

For the Glory of God and the Strengthening of His Church

In all that we do, Global Action seeks to remain faithful to Scripture, proclaim Jesus Christ, depend upon the Holy Spirit, honor local leadership, equip the whole person, and serve the global Church with humility.

We believe that when leaders are equipped, churches are strengthened, disciples multiply, and communities experience the hope of the Gospel.
