To the Ends of the Earth

Dear Friends,

One of the things I really love about my work with Global Action is my weekly meetings with staff members from all over the world. For those of you who don’t know what a Zoom Room is, it’s kind of like a virtual conference room online. Every Tuesday, our staff members sign on from places like India, Ukraine, the UK, Canada, Honduras, Guatemala and various parts of the United States. I see everyone’s smiling faces on video as we talk together about how God is changing lives through their work.

And it is a beautiful picture of the church. There is only ONE church, there is only ONE Lord, and together we have ONE mission. C. S. Lewis put it this way: “The church exists to draw people to Christ and make them little Christs [Christlike].” That is what we are doing at Global Action with your help. Together, people from all over the world are taking the good news about Jesus “to the ends of the earth.” It’s an exciting mission to be part of. Thank you for joining us on this incredible journey. Remember to pray for our team – the Evil One seeks to oppose the work of God. But we know how the story ends!

I recently received a call from one of our supporters who is making a sacrificial gift to Global Action. After I got off the phone I was reminded that perhaps there are some of you who received a bonus this year, or who are anticipating a tax refund. I want to encourage you to ENJOY God’s blessings! Celebrate the goodness of God! I would also like to ask you to consider sharing some of the good things God has given you with leaders who are in desperate need of a solid, Biblical education. Any gift you give will be used to train pastors who have no access to formal theological education. Enjoy, and be generous! That’s a win-win!

I’ve got more to share, but it will have to wait until next week!

With Gratitude,

Rick Thompson
President
