“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.” Colossians 3:16

What happens when a pastor is deeply rooted in the Word of God?

Not just encouraged, but truly equipped to understand it, teach it, and live it?

At Global Action, this question is at the heart of everything we do. Because when a pastor is equipped, a church is strengthened. When a church is strengthened, a community is transformed. The ripple effect of equipping one leader can reach hundreds, even generations.

Pastor Amosh’s story brings that reality into focus. Serving at Believers Eastern Church in Sikkim, India, Pastor Amosh leads a growing congregation of more than ten families and around thirty-five baptized members from diverse backgrounds.

His ministry is personal and intentional. He teaches the Word each week, visits families in their homes, and walks closely with his people as they grow in Christ.

But his leadership today is the result of something deeper. It is the fruit of being equipped.

In 2023, Pastor Amosh completed Global Action’s Foundations course after being introduced through a regional coordinator. Like many pastors, he was already faithfully serving. Yet he knew there was more to learn, more depth to gain, and more clarity needed in handling Scripture.

What he received through Foundations was not just information. It was transformation.

“As far as I am concerned, this training is one of the most important trainings for church leaders. It greatly helps in equipping leaders for effective ministry and provides deeper knowledge and understanding of the Word of God.”

Through the course, Scripture opened up in new ways for him. The context became clearer and his interpretation became stronger. Teaching became more confident and more faithful to the truth.

“Through this course, I gained valuable insights into the context of the Bible and learned how to interpret it correctly. Before attending the training, I did not clearly understand many biblical concepts, but now I am able to interpret and teach the Scriptures more effectively.”

This kind of equipping is essential. Around the world, many pastors are called to lead but have limited access to theological training. Without it, they carry the weight of ministry without the tools they need to rightly handle the Word of God.

Global Action exists to meet this need. Through the Foundations course, pastors like Amosh are given a strong biblical framework, practical tools for ministry, and the confidence to lead with clarity and conviction. The impact does not stop with them.

Today, Pastor Amosh’s church is growing in both number and depth. His leadership is marked by consistency, relational care, and a commitment to spiritual growth. He is not only preaching the Word. He is living it out among his people.

The Foundations course played a key role in sharpening his calling and direction.

“It has helped me develop better leadership for my church and has given me a stronger focus on evangelism and overall ministry. Before the training, I did not have a clear understanding of the deeper meaning and purpose of ministry. However, after completing the training, I discovered my purpose as a pastor and gained greater confidence in serving God and His people.”

Now, he looks ahead with vision.

“My personal goal in ministry is to win more souls for Christ and to start a new mission station in a new area in the future.”

This is why equipping church leaders matters.

Because one trained leader means stronger teaching. Stronger teaching means grounded believers. Grounded believers share the Gospel. And the Gospel changes lives.

“I thank God for the opportunity to serve Him and for the valuable training provided through Global Action, which continues to strengthen my ministry and leadership.”

Through pastors like Amosh, we see the multiplying power of equipping leaders in the Word of God. What begins in a training room does not stay there. It reaches into homes, churches, and entire communities.

This is the mission of Global Action. To equip pastors with the truth of Scripture so they can lead with strength, disciple with confidence, and faithfully carry the Gospel to the world.
