Cambridge Scholar Joins Leadership - Global Action On the Move
I am thrilled to announce that Cambridge Scholar Lionel Young III is joining our leadership team! Lionel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience into his new role as Global Action’s Vice President and Chief Growth Officer (CGO).
Lionel holds a Ph.D. from the University of Stirling (Scotland) where he did his research on the history of global Christianity under the British historian David W. Bebbington. Lionel also holds a Th.M. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Ecclesiastical History), an M.Div. from Grace Theological Seminary (Pastoral Theology), and a B.A. from Grace College (Biblical Studies).
Lionel has served as a pastor for more than 30 years in the United States, and has extensive experience leading large ministries. He has served in theological institutions in various parts of Africa, Asia, and Oceania. He also works as a scholar in residence at the Cambridge Centre for Christianity Worldwide (Cambridge, England), where he conducts cutting-edge research on the history and praxis of contemporary missions.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities overseas, Lionel devotes his energy to strategic growth initiatives, opening new fields in the non-Western world, and expanding our network of ministry partners.
Please join us in welcoming Lionel and his wife Stacy to the Global Action team! Lionel is now accepting speaking engagements from churches, colleges, and conferences in Europe and North America. If you are interested in having him come and speak, please contact Bailey Bada.
